Alberto Moletto Studied Architecture at Universidad Finis Terrae in Chile (2000), and took an MSc in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association. He worked at Zaha Hadid Architects on competitions in China and Middle East. In London he taught at the Architectural Association and at the University east London, Back in Chile, he established his own studio, where he has been working on a number of projects. Together with Cecilia Puga and Paula Velasco he won first place in the International competition for the Palacio Pereira, and also in the public competition for the North Regional Archives with Juan Barros. In parallel with his professional practice he has been teaching as a Studio Master at Universidad Católica, Universidad Finis Terrae and Universidad de Talca. His work has been published in different magazines and books including the Design Directory at Wallpaper magazine and the Phaidon Atlas of 21th century World Architecture. He has been invited to show his work at universities in Chile, Peru, Brazil, EEUU, Spain and UK.
On December 2015 he was awarded with the first place on an open competition for a public primary school in the south of Chile and the first place for the new building at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urban Studies at Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile.
